The plumbing and electrical wiring has been completely replaced throughout all of the apartments. The arrows point out the location of the new pipes, wires, electrical outlets and switches. You can see that we left the original kitchen cabinets and the bathtubs in place. We saved as much of the original plaster walls as we could.
The picture on the left shows the brick chimneys that were used to vent the smoke from the kitchen stoves. These can now also be used to run the connections (2nd from left) for each apartments air conditioning condenser that will be located on the roof (middle photo). Unfortunately, these won't arrive in time to give any relief to the crew now that the 100° heat has arrived.

You can see from these photo taken from the roof, the La Salle is located just a few miles from downtown Fort Worth. Across the street is the Davalla elementary school and the neighborhood is primarily single family homes.
We recently found another interesting item that was left behind many years ago. This time, tucked away in a corner of the attic was this old baby basinet.
