The plumbers have finished replacing the entire plumbing systems (top photos). Each of the two buildings has been completely rewired and the new meters are in place (center photo). Central heat and air conditioning systems have been installed in each apartment and the minimal amount of new carpentry needed to conceal the ductwork is finished (bottom photos).
The surprise for this month was the dated (Feb 18, 1928) signature from one of the members of the original construction crew. While working under the building, one of our plumbers noticed that one of the long wooden support beams had in fact been signed.
